Hello! I am using a Mac Mini 2014 for my WFH setup and I have no problems with it. I have a Thunderbolt monitor which has also been great; however, it died a few days ago.

I'm looking for suggestions for monitors for the mini? I'm not a techie, so I'm kind of at a loss here. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

Unless you have a egpu with a decent videocard, your pretty much limited to 1080.
This is not correct. The 2014 Mac mini can run up to 2560x1600 (two of them in fact).

To get 2560x1600 (or 2560x1440), you need Thunderbolt or DisplayPort, or else a mini-DisplayPort to dual-link DVI adapter. For example, I was running a 30" Apple Cinema HD Display with my 2014 Mac mini. Works fine in Monterey, including with keyboard brightness control and HDCP (the latter requiring 2007 or later Apple displays).

These are the top choices in order are: #1 Apple Studio, #2 LG 5k ultra fine, #3 Dell UltraSharp U2723QE.
None of these will work with the 2014 Mac mini. Well, the Dell would, but not at native resolution.
