Hi i own mac mini 2018 with big sur i am planning to speed my imovie editing can u tell me if egpu from razer core x with amd will it work properly , or not i read for most people imovie crashes when they try to use egpu ? is this fixed or not if its not can u tell me other manufacturer which egpu works best with mac mini?

Here's Apple's official support document regarding external graphics processors:

I am using a Sonnet eGFX Breakaway Box 550W + Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 580 + Mac mini 2018 (still running Mojave). My eGPU combo works great with iMovie, Shotcut, and DaVinci Resolve.

Best of luck trying to find one of Apple's recommended GPUs at a reasonable price right now.

Nothing that comes to mind.

I can fire up the hardware, run the software, get what I need to get done, then move on with my life. If it didn't I would have returned all the eGPU hardware within the normal return window for a full refund.

Anything else?

Why lots of people claim imovie cannot be used with external gpu ?
its full of such results.
may be its because of case manufacturer and gpu it self?

I have no idea. A lot of "people on the Internet" don't know what they are talking about. Don't believe everything you read online.

Please provide links to these "people [who] claim imovie cannot be used with external gpu." I will point out that Apple makes no statement saying that iMovie will not work.

One thing I can say is that iMovie does not receive any special performance boost from an external GPU. I believe Final Cut Pro (a software package I do not own) does have some code that will take advantage of the Radeon GPU architecture.
