I have a 2018 i7 w/32GB and 512GB SSD that was working fine on 10.14.x.
Did the upgrade to 10.15 today and noticed that after a while the eGPU fans were spinning at full speed pumping out a lot of heat (RX 580 in Akitio Node case). Also got weird video issues so I unplugged the HDMI cable from the chassis and plugged into the Mini.
That resolved any screen issues but then noticed that the Mini was getting really, really hot with the eGPU still plugged into TB3. Not the regular warm, but hot.
After shutting down, unplugging the eGPU I turned it on again and then got a magenta screen via HDMI direct to the monitor from the Mini. An unplug/plug seemed to fix that and after a few minutes the Mini cooled down to normal again.
Anyone else seeing anything like this?
