Mac mini 2020 can I used it on my iMac 2019 ?

Hi

can the Mac mini be hocked up too my iMac 2019 computer useing HDMI ? Or would I need too buy a hole new Monitor for it ?

You will need a monitor for the 2020 Mini. The iMac 2019 does not support TDM (Target Display Mode) and the video connection on the iMac is only video out from the iMac, not in.
