Hey there,

My question is the following. I am interested in getting myself a Mac Mini and a Cinema Display or something comparable for that matter. Actually, it's most probably going to be the Dell 2407WFP. Anyhow. Both Displays have a resolution of 1920x1200 px which would fit the Mac Mini just fine with it's maximum resolution being the same.

Now, I do have not the shadow of a doubt that it will be possible to attach the Display (whichever I'll buy) and to get it to work - mostly because Apple states so on the "Technical Information" site: "supports 20-inch Apple Cinema Display and 23-inch Apple Cinema HD Display". Fine.

What they do not talk about is the following:

Performance:
-> What is the GMA950 like when pushed to it's maximal resolution? Will it be a bit sloggy or won't it. I'm talking about XCode Windows and Terminals. Spare me with the gaming news. I'm too old for that kind of entertainment. :p
HDCP:
-> Is it actually possible to use a HDCP compliant display on a Mac Mini?
Signal quality:
-> What about the signal quality of the graphics chip. Do you reckon it'll be fine, or somewhat noisy etc.
AA:
-> Is it any good at such a resolution? I mean, basically so many, oh-so-tiny pixels should act as some kind of natural AA anyhow. Given the fact that the GMA950 can't do AA (if I remember correctly) that might help quite a bit.

Ah well. I'd be glad for any information.

Thanks in advance.
