Mac Mini Advice Thread Number 100!

Hi everyone, OK I am sure there are LOADS of threads on here about buying a mac mini but non of them appear to have what I want. My main question is:

Does anyone here have a Core Solo connected to a CRT TV to run Front Row and use the machine as a home media player? How does it work? I have all my DVD ripped to mpeg so I am wondering how well the Solo would play on a CRT TV. Also how have you connected to the TV?
