1. has price decrease since its years old now?
2. what youtubes or sites has the most detailed indepth analysis / tests of mac mini?
3. what site shows if it has heat issues?
4. when is a new mini coming?
5. can use any displays yea?
6. what helpful sites has other important info to know about mini?

link helpful things

1. no
2. don't know, not watching many youtube sites
3. don't know of any
4. only Apple knows
5. any display should work, at least until you use the right cables (HDMI, DVI, Displayport, different adapters) and the right GPUs for the needs; the integrated Intel UHD 630 supports at least 2 pcs of 4K monitors, if you want more you need to buy and eGPU
6. ask whatever you need in MacRumors forums

looks like the display question is the only one that's really answerd, like are there not any used or refub minis?? if there is nobody mentioned it

without any detailed sites tests or other helpful info on mini, im gonna look into 'intel nuc' and looks like amd had recently started a new line of small pcs

doesnt look like there's really any other options left for mini pcs and doesnt seem like anyone on the web really knows anything much on this topic of small pcs

1. Sort of. Apple dropped the price of higher tier optional SSD configs several months back.
3. What heat issue? The case can get a little warm to the touch but it doesn't seem to impact performance. https://barefeats.com/mac-mini-2018-versus-other-macs.html
4. Not anytime soon. Maybe a couple months after desktop Ice Lake CPUs arrive.

7. Apple occasionally has refurbished mac minis in stock. Other retailers might have open box items from time to time.

Plenty of hardware sites go on ad nauseam about mini PCs and others the 2018 Mac Mini. I’ll spare you the L.M.G.T.F.Y link. Check Apple‘s refurb site, the 2018 Mini shows up on there periodically.

You probably just need to decide if you need Mac OS or not. If you do, the mini is a great option IMO and obviously if you want a small desktop Mac with your choice of monitor, it is THE option. If you don’t need a Mac, and it doesn't sound like you do, then you’ve obviously got bags more choice, you probably don’t need a Mac mini and you might be better off looking at other options.

barefeats

this page seems basically not helpful (it's one of the 99.9% of not helpful sites out there)

first it's not comparing mac mini to other mini pcs

2nd there are no real world tests of real softwares that youtubers seem to have
[automerge]1581023526[/automerge]
Plenty of hardware

are you are sure about this claim? i havent seen any

do you even know of any?

better off looking at

the basic situation problem so far appears that there's really no popular or widespread mini pc under the dimensions listed in op

or maybe there is

and seems that nobody really knows on the topic like @topmounter doesnt seem to know anything

1. seems simpler to go with mac mini, but havent any detailed info or tests cant do that
2. also its a year or years old by now and there SHOULD be something better by now so not sure right now how much overpriced in hardware mac mini is relative to the new better thing right now

but not sure what that is right now

the whole thing either options is overall not worth due to how hard it is to find the helpful info

laptops are likely 1000x more painful to find the 16 ram at the price of the mini pcs

Perhaps if your tone and attitude were both a tad less demanding you'd get more responses.

topmounter supplied some valid advice and you reply with:
"and seems that nobody really knows on the topic like @topmounter doesnt seem to know anything"

I've just gone through an extensive period researching the Mac mini to replace a Mac Pro and did a lot of research instead of supplying a bullet point list expecting instant answers.

In general, the folk on this forum are extremely helpful with advice and assistance if asked politely.

havent seen anything helpful

if it was helpful there would be actually good answers instead of you just providing absolutely nothing helpful

shows alot

you dont even know what are the informative or helpful sites, just a completely info-less comment

shows alot

you dont even know anything, you're just spamming the op cos you dont know anything (that's what bad users do, they dont know anything so they cant answer anything anyone asks)

so you make up so excuse cos you dont actually know anything
