Hello all.
does anyone can help with the following situation:
i have a mac mini connected to a Toshiba 37A3000 LCD tv via HDMI-DVI cable.
when i power on the mac the lcd tv recognize the mac mini's signal and i have a display.
but if the mac goes into standby (which it's in most of the time) and i wake it up, my lcd screen stays blank.
my solutions to this problem are either power off-power on, or plugging out and in the HDMI cable.
this is stupid , do u guys have a better solotion .
i heard something about maybe forcing my mac to send a signal like it was powered on over the HDMI - when it gets out of standby? but I'm not sure how to do it.

please assist.

Hallowed are the Ori... :p

Does your TV have some sort of special mode where it turns off rather than "sleeps"? I would try setting to just sleep or go into standby, or get a firmware upgrade for your set.

What I do is that I never power down my Mini. I have it on. Maybe you can just put the hard disk to sleep but keep the unit running with a screensaver?
