Somewhere on Earth
Hello All,

Long story short, my brother in India purchased a iMac 27" about couple of weeks ago and they are returning it due to yellow tinge issue. The apple CR person at singapore said they would replace the LCD alone but no guarantee that the new will not have the yellow tinge and no more replacements after that. So he has said enough is enough ,let me return the iMac and purchase a mac mini, with :apple: KB & Mouse and a external monitor from the same shop.

Should I look for a LCD TV and use it as a monitor or a dedicated Monitor. What all features to be noted while purchasing a monitor?

Can you guys help me to choose between these 2 screens.
1. Sony

2. Dell

Thanks for reading the post...!!!

well the sony is a 720p tv and the dell is a 1080p display

Does he require a TV tuner? If so, get the sony, if not definitely get the dell

Yellow screens are not acceptable. Push back on Apple in Singapore. They are supposed to stand behind their products. If they tell you that they won't replace another defective screen, take it to the next level.

We are unable to reach the person above that CR in singapore. The system was bought in India though.

Let me ask my bro to give a last try again.
