Wondering how the display performance of the Mac Mini is. What resolution displays can it drive well? 32MB video ram seems a little low, especially for games. Any thoughts?

It drives my Dell 2005FPW pretty well, but I don't push it very hard. It certainly wouldn't run games at that resolution!

No kidding. 32MB is the bare minimum nowadays for anything.

my girlfriend has a mac mini and it runs on her desktop at 1280 by 1024 but by no means is she a gamer... i think the mini displays a higher res but unleass u plan on playing old school games i would shy away from a mini...

On the mac mini forums users claim they run games well. And with the new ones having 64mb of VRAM they should be ok? I've play WOW, Neverwinter Nights, Unreal 2004 etc on a 12" Powerbook with the Nvidia 5200 64MB and it runs fine - wouldn't the Mac Mini be pretty similar?

I have a Mac Mini with the 1.5Ghz G4, 64 MB Ati9200 and 512MB of RAM and it runs World of Warcraft pretty sweetly at 1024X786 in 32 Bit colour.
I have no complaints with it. :D

Apple has been shipping the upgraded Minis for a few weeks, though they still have the old listed on the box.
