Thought I would share. My Mac mini 512GB 16GB arrive 2 1/2 weeks ago. Went to install BS 11.3 beta 2 this weekend. It was crashing so did the erase disk process to reinstall 11.2.1. At recovery screen kept coming up as "Reinstall Big Sur BETA". Called Apple they told me to take mini to Apple Store to have them "revive" the mini. They called me the next day and told me there was a problem with the logic board and since it was so new they were going to consider it a DOA and they would exchange for a new one, even though it was beyond the return period. They did not have a 512GB/16GB in stock. So they sold me a 256GB/8GB as I was desperate for work and said they would take it back even if it passed the 14 day return period, as it might take longer to get the new mini.

I then received an email telling me my trade in was cancelled because of return of the Mac mini. They were shipping it back to me. The only reason I didn't get my credit for it already was the snow in Texas didn't let it get processed. So I had to put the trade in on the new order and when I get the old trade in back, I have to ship it back to them under the new trade in!! The only winner in this is FEDEX!!

Wow! Talk about a perfect storm...
