Mac Mini for H.265 encoding?

I've got a 2013 MP that is still good enough for most of what I need out of it. One thing it seems to be struggling with is encoding to HEVC. I've got a good sized video library that I'd like to rip. I know some of the newer Macs have hardware acceleration support for H.265, is the Mac Mini one of them? Would I expect it to do this faster than my old MP?
