Mac Mini freezes up. Cntrl/opt/esc and reboot still doesn't work.

My Mac mini freezes up and will not let me do anything. I tried restarting-didn't work,still got same freeze issue. Same with Command Option Escape. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mac Mini freezes up. Cntrl/opt/esc and reboot still doesn't work.

Boot in the single user mode (hold cmd+s) while starting up.

Then run:
/sbin/fsck -fy

to check your hdd.
