I am fighting a problem for a couple of weeks now.
My Mac Mini G4 1.25 GHz, 1GB RAM is a headless unit and does some AppleScript stuff on a daily basis.
A couple of weeks back it just died - no video, no response to keyboard input, nothing..
I replaced logic board, hard drive, reinstalled OS (Tiger) by using Disk Target Mode and copying files from USB flash drive to HDD. Flash drive was backed-up from HDD using Carbon Cloner. This procedure worked fine on another Mac Mini just a couple of days before and was verified to be good on a third Mac Mini.

Now it has grey apple on start-up with spinning thingy and when it's done booting - I get grey screen only. Still it will not respond to any keyboard input.

It will not boot from OS DVD - gives me the same result as from HDD.

Did anybody encounter anything similar?
Yes, I did zap power settings etc. This mini would not work with any known HDD or any other media.
Thanks for any input!
Mark
