Mac mini graphics glitches

Hi there,

I have my late 2009 mac mini that I took the 500gb ssd and replaced with a 120gb one. Turns out the 500gb was patched with catalina from my mid 2010 macbook. So i erased the drive and installed el cap. Now still have the same graphical glitches from before.
