Hi all,

I have got a last generation mini with the GMA 950 graphics. What I am wondering is wether I can change the amount of memory that is used by the graphics?

Also would adding more RAM allow for more graphic allocation up to 256mb.

I had a quick look on the web but no definite answers.

Thanks,

Stephen

This old thread might be of help. It comes down to using a tool called GMABooster, but the site appears to be dead.

Thanks for the link but im not looking to overclock it or that just wondering if anyone has been able to assign more memory for it because on the Intel site it says that it can access up to 224mb of RAM but in system profiler it is only given 64mb. I have saw that it can be given the full amount of 224mb if ram through *whisper it* (windows).

Its just that I am starting to develop a lot of OpenGL applications and I sometimes notice that it stutters a bit when running them and also during HD playback.

Thanks for the link and any information is always welcomed. :)
