I've been looking to upgrade my Mini's internal drive for quite some time. I definitely need a 7200 rpm drive (especially for running Logic, and other music production applications), but of course, its gotta run cool and quiet.

Anybody recommend a certain drive?

I found these, and read all the reviews, but has anyone here tried any of them:

Hitachi Travelstar, WD Scorpio Black, Seagate Momentus... i can't decide!!

Help!

i personally would go with a WD or Seagate drive
They tend to fail the least, just decide what size you want, and you can never have too much

If you can wait a couple more weeks, the Seagate 500 gb/7200 rpm drive ought to be available.

Yeah, about that.... I'll never buy another WD drive. I'm 0/3 and their customer service is the worst of any vendor I've dealt with.
