Hey guys,

I have just got today, my new Mac mini M1. It runs well when it registers on my screen.

I am currently updating it to Monterey from the pre-installed Big Sur.

The screen I am using is a budget 39" screen, but it worked great on my PC for the last several months?

Is there anything I can look to try and get it working..

The problem, when I start the Mini up, there is nothing displaying on the screen, I need to fiddle around with the remote, on /off, HDR buttons pressed, all sorts!

TIA. Good to be back too! :)

Tried a spare 24” monitor, and is working fine..

as I was pretty sure it was the monitor, I’m now 99% that it is.

time to contact the seller..

I went from HDMI to Display Port and will never looked back. It solved my refresh rate issue completely. I'll never use HDMI for anything except maybe TV.

I think this is "a cabling issue" rather than a display issue.

What kind of other cables have you tried?

I'd suggest:
- a "high speed HDMI 2.0" cable.
or
- a USBc to displayport cable
or
- a USBc to DVI cable/adapter (if there's a DVI input)
