hey guys.. i am planning on buying a mac mini to use for a DVR with eye tv 250 plus. I will be primarliy using it with my 42 inch hdtv via hdmi , my question is...would i be able to switch between my tv when using it as a DVR or dvd player, and a computer monitor?? Also if not i will probably just buy the cheapest mac mini on ebay, is there a standard that needs to be met for me to use the mini as a DVR? any help would be appreciated and thanks a lot. later

The Mini only has one video port, so no.
Unless you add a video switch or splitter which will be expensive. ~($100-$300).
This is how I ended up with the 17" iMac in my living room.
