So, my Mac mini is here, and has iLife '04 programs pre-installed (iPhoto, iMovie, etc.). In addition, there's an Install DVD for iLife '05 in the box. Does that mean I have, in essence, a full license for iLife '04 as well as iLife '05? Could I move the '04 programs to my G3 and then be able to install '05 on the mini? It doesn't say it's an upgrade...

Just wondering if I kinda got a "2 for 1" deal here.

BTW, the mini rocks!
:D

Duff-Man says....they started manufacturing the mini before iLfe 05 was ready so that is why 04 is pre-installed and they tossed the new disks in the box. Strictly speaking, OEM copies included with the computer are only licensed for the computer it shipped with....oh yeah!

To add to what Duff-Man is saying, the iLife'05 with the Mini is specifically an upgrade for the iLife'04, so you really only have one license anyway.
