I have a 2014 Mac Mini connected to a 4K Vizio TV and it insists on running in YCbCr instead of RGB. Googling shows there's an EDID hack fix but I don't know if that still works with SIP restrictions. I'm inclined to replace it with an M1 Mini but I'm afraid of encountering the same issue. Is anyone else running an M1 Mini connected to a tv?

EDIT: Well that was easier than expected and didn't require any SIP adjustments or recovery mode. TV is now in RGB mode.

For anyone else, the link below was the fix. No recover mode is necessary though. Just copy the dir that is created to the mac system dir and reboot.
