My mac mini is running sluggish specially if I open browsers i.e. safari 5, mozilla.Dont know what happen coz previously it runs smoothly, Then just last week, when i open browsers, it take some time to open, my 15" Powebook G4 1.25 speeds up faster than my mini :( really need you expertise guys.:(

Yup, it's very simple. While you're in the Disk Utility, verify the disk too (it's the button next the permissions repair button)

Thank you so much for the quick reply.I am now doing it on my mini.:D

I'll see and observe if i'll open a browser.

Thanks Hellhammer, its working..another prob with my mini is that some of my movie downloads will not play on the quicktime player, other downloads will do run.Any tips on how to reconcile this?

again thanks a lot for the needed help.:D

Might be because QuickTime doesn't support all formats. Install Perian, it adds support to QT for most formats. If they still don't work, use VLC to watch them, it supports pretty much every format. Haven't found a video that doesn't work with it

I have my VLC, if it will not run with Quick Time, VLC is the saviour.
