Hi guys new to the forum!

I've heard that the 16gb upgrade (2x8gb) is around $100 in america, where as here in Britain its over £100 for quality ram. Is this true?

Thanks

Yes it's about £100+ for 16gb

Remember tho the $100 figure includes no taxes ;)

Thanks Gav! £100 seems very pricey when those in the states can get it for nearly half?

Nope, I paid £70 for my corsair vengance ram over a year ago, you'll get it cheaper now and it's top quality

RAM prices have skyrocketed since last year to the point where buying a carton of SODIMMs could even make a great investment. At least if it wasn't obsolete by, uhh,

A set of 16GB Kingston HyperX Plug'n'Play is £135 by now, in the US it's $175.
