I need some help, I have encountered this issue with an earlier update of MacOS, but don't recall how to fix it.
Here is the thing: I have a Mac Mini that I use as a Media Player. It is hooked up to my TV, operated solely through a Mac Remote or a screensharing session if need be.
I recently updated the MacOS to High Sierra on it.
Now, after this update the screen won't stay on, unless there is an active screensharing session to the system.
As soon as I close the screensharing session, the Mac Mini logs out and turns the screen off.
I have looked through and adjusted all the sleeper settings I could find, to tell the system never to sleep or logout, but still it does this.
I even installed a Caffeine-like app, but nothing works.
Anybody understand what's going on here?
PS: before the upgrade to High Sierra, so on Sierra, this all functioned fine and I did an upgrade, not a clean install of High Sierra.
Thanks for any help,
Albert.
