Since a couple of days my Mac mini looses very often its Wi-Fi connection although it shows in the Network preferences that it is connected. The only thing that helps is to turn Wi-Fi off and then on again. After turning it on again it might work fine for the rest of the day or it might also work only for another minute.

My iPhone and my iPad stay connected. I therefore don't think that this is a router problem. The distance between Mac mini and router is about 5 feet.

What I also noticed is that the Mac mini sees only very few and close Wi-Fi networks. It usually sees only two networks while i. e. my 2010 MacBook sees six or seven from my neighbors.

Any idea what this might by and how it could be fixed?
