Mac mini M1 No sound when connected to sound bar

Hi, I
m trying to get sound on Yamaha YSP-4300 Soundbar, the mini is connected to a tv via HDMI cable, I have an HDMI cable going from the tv HDMI Arc to the HDMI arc on the soundbar, I can see the yba-11 Yamaha on the sound options but there is no sound, I also have tried and analog cable from the mini to the bar without luck, is there a step I'm missing? By the way, if I use the tv I get sound if watching any channel or Netflix, Disney, etc.

Hmm, the last time I set something like that up, I had to fiddle with the TV and amplifier settings a lot.

That said, make sure the correct audio out is selected on the Mini, and that it’s not muted. Silly, but silly things sometimes get overlooked.
