So I bought my first Mac since the price finally seemed legit enough to purchase. I have Big Sur V 11.3 installed and still get this screen flicker. I do however believe it is different from "screen flicker lines" on intel mac mini's. The flicker is more like a fluorescent bulb flicker and is all over the screen and seems to be white colors on the screen that do it more. Is there any kind of fix for this?

I also purchased a Samsung T7 SSD with 2TB (because I am cheap and got my mac mini with 16 GB of Ram and 256GB HD). My issue is when I plug the T7 into the Mini, It (the T7) gets hot when using the included usb-c to usb-c cable. BTW, I have yet to get the speeds of 1050mb/s as Samsung says it will, though using this "Hot method" I get the fastest speeds at around 790's write and 680's read speeds. It concerns me being hot but if I switch to the other Samsung cable usb A to usb-c it is a lot cooler to the touch yet only runs around 370 write and 330 read. I specifically bought this setup because I intended on running apps on the T7 since the Mini does not have that large of HD. Also wanted to note that the heat is there when only plugged in and not in use....no apps running or using the T7. It would make more sense that it generates heat when in heavy use but this is not the case.
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks!
