Do you think the RAM will be capped at 16GB on the Mac Mini M2? I was a bit encouraged to see 24GB on the MBA M2 but maybe anyone needing 32GB on a headless Mac would be pushed towards the Studio?

The M2 has a maximum of 24GB.
An M2pro will likely have a maximum of 48GB.
An M2 max and ultra will have more still.

So it will all depend on which processor options they will offer.

Many of us are guessing M2 only for the Mac mini in 2023, with a 24 GB maximum. No M2 Pro.

However, Mark Gurman of Bloomberg seems to think there is an M2 Pro in the pipeline.
