I am looking at getting a Mac Mini M4 but would like to know if it is compatible with my monitors.

I have:

Philips 499P - 5120x1440 @ 70 Hz - supports USB-C DP Alt Mode, DisplayPort, HDMI
Philips 273V - 1920x1080 @ 75 Hz - supports DisplayPort, HDMI

To avoid using adapters I am hoping that I will be able to connect the 49" via USB-C to one of the Thunderbolt ports and the 27" via HDMI.

I have read that Thunderbolt 4 supports USB-C DP Alt Mode, but just want to confirm that the Mac Mini will definitely work with it?

And if so, will I need a Thunderbolt 4 or a USB-C DP Alt Mode cable, or would either work?

Also, the supported refresh rates in the specs I have found are a little confusing - will I be able to get the highest available refresh rate from both monitors?
