Mac mini media center concerns

Ok so I have ran across a Mac mini G4 a1103 for a decent price and have always wanted to make one a home media center my only real concern is will it be able to play back 1080p or blue ray quality with the video card in it because I currently have a hp laptop as my media center that is only about 1.5 years old that is not able to and I just don't want to waste my money on this if its not what I need if anyone has any info or suggestions it is much appreciated
