Mac Mini mid 2011: How to give the HD3000 more memory?

hey guys, i just someone mention in another thread that they give their HD3000 512mb of memory. how is this possible? i've got 5gb of RAM and i don't see how i can give it more RAM.

When I put in 8 GB instead of the original 4 GB in my 2011 mbp 13" I got 512 MB instead of 384 MB.
Maybe the same with the mac mini?
