doing a quick review on the mac mini shelf provided by H-SQ.com , i bought 2 shelfs and a time capsule wall mount.
Today im going to review the Mini Shelf,
First off, the company was very quick with there shipping, the unit costs $49.95 USD.
The installation was pretty straight forward, i mounted it under the shelf on my desk so i could stack 2 mini's one underneath the other. upon mounting the first shelf, i noticed the shelf's mounting holes did not match. The mounting holes on the second shelf were actually quite off, So i measured the second shelf to find out it was actually machined a little bit off centered to the other holes.
The company advertised mini stacking as an option (which i bought the kit for).
my first complaint.....workmanship.
The squared holes shown in the picture for the mini locking front were not punched out....They do not fit in with the mini there.
The units mounted under my desk separately, one under one shelf and the second under the second shelf.
the units include power supply mounts (thank god) which will let you mount your power supply in any direction to get it off the shelf (floor).
the quality of these products is not there, they claim there hand crafted, but they are far from hand crafted.
