i just got me a new monitor and a apple keyboard and i plug it to my macbook and works great...

i use it like 4+ hours a day.. em i putting too much stress on the macbook im downloading/web/doing homework/movies, ect..at same time.now im looking to get a mini or my macbook will be ok to handle ..well im looking to get a mini to replace the pc in my living room for family..so is mac mini worth the $$?

Basically, the Mac Mini is a Macbook without the screen/keyboard/etc, so the Mac Mini will do no better that your Macbook (if not worse).

The Mac Mini uses ALL laptop components even down to the hard drive, so the performance would be no better.

Yes but with the Macbook you could dual monitor. Works kind of neat.
