Hi all,

I have 2 questions for all of you, who use the current gen MacMini as a media center:

Can the current generation MacMini play fullhd (.mkv, .avi etc) movies without any lag or distortion? and

Presuming the next generation MacMini will bring the same base specs as current low-end MacBook Pro 13", will it be able to play fullhd movies without any problems (I'm asking because I have no idea good is the new Intel GFX Card)?

Thanks!

Yep, it does just fine for watching HD movies. I had it connected to my 46" TV at one point and no lag, no distortion -- looked great.

My buddy had a TB external USB drive full of torrented movies that look great on the mini.
