Hey, Just a quick explanation.
I'm really down and angry and being forced to use Vista for now -_-

I opened up my mac mini to upgrade RAM.
I look at it and realised. WTF do I do?

So I closed it up again, with the intent to look up instructions on it.
When i put it back together, the white light starts, i cant hear anything and after 5 seconds it will go off. and will NOT start up.

help?

you sure you didn't touch anything inside?

I thought the mac mini's had user-accessible RAM slots like iMacs.

Does it not start at all now? Or does it still power up and then shut off?

Im sure.

It probably does, But all i saw was the optical drive :/

I'm gonna see if i dislodged a RAM by accident. Would that cause it to not start?

It will phsyically recieve power and show it via the white light.
And go off again. It wont boot up. Or even begin to boot up.

You pried open the mac mini without having instructions with you? Interesting lol
To access the ram you would have had to remove several components like the antennas and cd drive

Yeah, I opened it just to examine the system to myself; no straight off intention of replacing the RAM at that time.
Once I examined the core system I put it back inside the alliminium case and closed her up.
