I've got a 1GB module from DMS I've pulled from my sister's Macbook Pro some time ago when I upgraded her to 2GB. I was going to use this along with a 2GB module to upgrade my girlfriend's Mac Mini to 3GB.

However, I'm concerned and need a few questions asked.

1) Do I need to buy a matching DMS memory module to install or can brands be mixed?

2) If so, how do I identify if it's EconoRam or the standard stuff that DMS sells?

That's it for now.

If you haven't popped the top and got into a Mini before be patient and take your time. Watch out for the little ribbon cable on the back so that it doesn't pull lose.
