Hi,
any recommendations for speaker/mic combo for mac mini?

would love to use the Mini pod but it doesn't offer mic option, so looking for something to go on a usb port? Would prefer volume control to be through mac only (no separate controller on the speakers).

I’m personally not aware of such a combo, but I’m a fan of Blue Yeti mic and Kef LS50 speakers.

Without a price range, we can’t really go further with recommendations. Audio simply doesn’t have limits.

My M1, I use the Thunderbolt 27" display which has a built in speaker, microphone, and Facetime webcam.

Makes me feel like I have a seamless Macbook Air/Pro....

I have an old iMac and I really like the speakers on it. On my other systems, I just use cheap, Logitech speakers. I have a nice Microphone though. I am not aware of combinations. I have seen video camera/mike combinations though, that you clip on your monitor.

There are several USB connected "speakerphones" at Amazon. How the ones that claim Mac compatibility actually work or interact with the OS, audio-wise, is hard to figure out.

A speakerphone may or may not be desirable as they are more for conference calls than separate components. Conference calls are often Mono and someone might want stereo for music or watching videos.
