I am just wondering what is everyones MM CPU Temp (using SMC fan control or similar).

What is the temp idling and under load?

My 2012 i7 2.6ghz runs around 85-95'c under full load (using for example handbrake) and 50-60'c idling. Although its 'idling' level is running as a server for four other Macs and AppleTV for file sharing and itunes access etc.

What are your temps (including the MM model and CPU for reference)?

That's normal. Generally the quad cores idle around 45-55 and have been known to hit as high as 100 when under load. Dual cores run about a little cooler. However, you do realize that ambient temperatures directly effect the CPU temps especially at idle right? I mean in the summer we keep our house at about 24-25C, but in the winter its more like 20. This causes an increase in my idle temps by about 3-5C in my computers (and I assume the 2012 Mini will be the same, but I've owned it for only a month or so).

Again, not sure what you are looking for or expecting. There are too many variables to put any weight on what an individual sees for temps and frankly all Ivy Bridge processors will shut down if it they go above 105C which is their max temp.

My Mac Mini (2011 2.5GHz i5) idles around 65c is this normal?

Current room temp is 26c

It has two drives installed - 1 SSD and the stock HDD - could it be an airflow thing?

I have the same Mini connected to two 23 in full HD monitors and it idles around 55 - 60 degrees celsius... When I first got the Mini I was also slightly worried about those temps, but people on this forum have put my mind at ease... ;)
I don't think you have anything to worry about...

I'll have to look into it, but external temps read from my laser Fluke temperature probe 109 (F) at the exhaust port encoding BD.
