A couple years ago, we set up a wireless network at home with a Mac mini and a Linksys router. At the time, Linksys' documentation was openly hostile to Macs. It took most of two days, but eventually we got a setup that works. I don't recall protocols or exactly what I did, but I ended up with four 26-character passwords which I've used to connect my work Dell laptop to our network.

At Christmas we got a Wii and I've had zero luck connecting it to our network. I've used the four available protocols that Wii accepts and tried entering one of the four passwords. The connection doesn't work.

I'm thinking the easiest thing to do would be to reset the router and start over, maybe find a protocol that requires a shorter password I can remember (WEP?). Anyone have experiences doing this? Are there pitfalls I should avoid?
