I have a Mac Mini which I'm trying to network with my Windows 7 PC using ethernet.

In this room I have a local ethernet router (no internet connection, coming out of both computers into the ethernet) and then both computers are connected via Wireless N to the internet router in the other room.

I want to force the Mac and PC to share files over ethernet ALWAYS, not because it'll be faster, but because it'll stop lag for others on my network.

Is it possible to force this?

Thank you so much!

Turn off the Mini's Airport and connect it via ethernet to the router. Where's the problem?

Does anybody have the answer to this?

Synergy is really lagging out, and it's super annoying! Also files take for ever to transfer.

Please help!
