I get a question mark over a silhouette and underneath the message (Update Needed). When I enter my password, the computer boots to recovery mode.
I'm thinking then that there is something up with my startup disk. So when I open disk utility I see that my internal startup SSD only shows 33kb total capacity and all options for repairing, erasing, etc are greyed out.
