My Mac mini's internet speeds have been extremely slow for the past few weeks and nothing I do seems to have any long term affects.

I have Comcast internet use an Airport Extreme Base Station as my router.

I have tried both OpenDNS and Google DNS servers and while they work great for a day, they fizzled out and now neither increase my speed.

Does anybody have any solutions?

I think you'll have to physically hook the computer directly up to the cable modem to verify that it's not a router or wireless issue. That's the first thing your cable company will have you try.

If the speed seems too slow then try the same thing but with a different computer. If the speed is still slow then call your cable company.

I don't know why you're trying different DNS servers; are you saying the entire slowdown is caused by a delay in looking up domains?

I'd call Comcast, assuming you've tested the network speeds using the same configuration but with another computer or device (and that device also exhibits a sluggish connection).
