Mac mouse cursor is all jumpy & glitchy

My Mac (Mighty Mouse) cursor is all glitchy & jumpy.

I changed the batteries, didn't help.
I restarted my MBP, didn't help.
I turned my mouse off & back on, didn't help.
I turned off BT & back on, didn't help.

Anyone had similar issues? Does anyone know what to do about it?

Might be piece of lint in the optical / laser beam area.

Just cleaned it, didn't help.
