Mac music gone. How to transfer tunes from iPad Pro to iPhone 11, Mac

Hi all,
Please help me.
Due to an upgrade of OS on my Mac, my itunes library to Apple Music, all but my purchased music is lost. My iPad still has all my music and playlists.
i want to transfer all the ipad music to my iPhone 11 and back to my Mac laptop.
I signed up for Apple Music but that is NOT doing it. I don’t want Apple Music, i just thought it would help solve my problem.
