Hey, guys. So I'm investing in a new 15" rMBP and am getting a relatively high-end monitor. I need the ideal cable to get the most resolution possible while maintaing 60 Hz. I've never owned a Mac before, and I'm having some difficulty understanding exactly what I need.

The Dell monitor is 25", 2560x1440, and has two HDMI ins, two display port ins, one mini display port in, and some USB 3.0 slots.

What cable do I need to get the most out of the rMBP on this monitor? Thanks in advance for helping a noob.

Like the post above mine says, use a DisplayPort cable. If you are buying the monitor new, the Dell website says the monitor should come a DisplayPort cable ( Mini-DP to DP).
