Hi, I'm trying to get synching of my address book working on my .mac account and it only seems to sync from .mac to address book.

If I add a contact in .mac and sync, I see the new contact in address book. However if I add a contact in address book and sync it doesn't appear in .mac.

Am I doing something wrong?

I'm using Tiger (10.4.11). Does synching work correctly on Tiger as I don't really want to upgrade to Leopard.

Cheers.

I don't think you're doing anything wrong. I am having the same problem with .Mac, I am running Leopard. 10.5.3. I tried chatting with an Apple team member last night but we were unsuccessful in getting it to work. Sucks because I would really like to purchase .mac/mobileme but not if it continues to behave this way.

Is it possible that synching isn't working because Apple are gearing up to MobileMe?

Does address book synching work for anyone?

I've fixed it !!!

It seems that if you are using Entourage (!!) it somehow breaks it.

I deleted all my contacts from Entourage and told it to Sync again. This time everything worked as expected.

Looks like something in Entourage is stopping it from synching.
