I have a 2017 27" iMac with a 512 GB SSD. I recently updated to High Sierra and tried to use the Blackmagic Disk Speed Test app on the SSD but could not because it is Read Only. So I checked permissions in Get Info for that drive and I am not listed. Tried to add myself but could not because I do not have permissions to do so. One listed user is "everyone" who can Read Only. I tried to change that to Read and Write but again could not because I do not have permissions.

In System Preferences> Users and Groups I am listed as Admin. If I am Admin, why cannot I make changes to the permissions for the SSD? How can I get permissions?

Thanks
