Mac OS 10.4 Archive and Install Previous System Folder

Make sure you have everything that you need from the old system before you delete it.

Exactly, have you retrieved everything you may need? If it's been a few months or maybe weeks and you have not needed it, it is probably a fair indication that you won't need the previous install anymore.

Restoring Prev. System Folder in Mac OS 10.5+?

Is there any way I can restore my Previous System Folder in Leopard 10.5 without having to go through the entire folder bit by bit? I've tried replacing Library and System files to get all my program preferences back and it's requiring me to Authenticate the folder, but when I click on it, nothing happens. I can't even bring my old Admin acct into the new OS. Help me please!
