Apple's Tiger OS claimed the 3rd spot in PCWorld's "The 100 Best Products of 2005." Four other Apple products made the list.

These were...
03. Apple Mac OS X Version 10.4 (Tiger) Operating System
34. Apple ITunes Media Player
75. Apple Mac Mini Small PC
78. Apple IPod Photo Large-Capacity MP3 Player
86. Apple ITunes Music Store Music Downloads

The Number 1 spot went to "Mozilla Firefox," while number 2 went to "Google Gmail."

This list must be a year old. No mention of the iPod nano, video iPod or Aperture.

Comon, Corel Painter?

I would have put Firefox and Google Gmail on the list, but not 1 and 2... umm.. I guess that is why they didn't ask me to do the list :p
yeah, as much as i love firefox (i can no longer live without drag-and-drop tab arrangement; i find myself trying it on the windows taskbar and other places) i don't think a web browser is deserving of the number one product of 2005, even moreso because it didn't come out in 2005! however, i'm pretty hard-pressed to find a better one.

Filemaker is not made by Apple.
It is made by Apple (Filemaker is a wholly owned subsidiary), but doesn't have an Apple brand. If you were to talk about Apple branded products then I would agree.

This is getting to tricky - but I'll take your word. :p

May Mozilla, Google and Apple work together toward Microsoft's fall.

May Mozilla, Microsoft and Apple then work together toward Google's fall ...

I think FF deserves the top spot. We wouldn't think so because we are fortunate enough to use OSX. Firefox is a godsend for the rest of the world and has saved many people from the whorefest that is Internet Explorer.

I was thinking about that earlier. When was FireFox 1.0 released? And who has the bright idea of doing a "Best whatever of the year" list when the year in question is barely half over? Dumbasses.
