Hi everyone.

I have a original install DVD version 10.5.6 which came with my iMac.

I would like to know if the same disk can be used to install the OS on an ibook G4 1,33, 512gb ram.
Or maybe there is a different disc version for ibook G4 ?

Thanks

Sorry no. The grey disks that come with Macs will only work on that machine. You need a retail copy (black disk) of Leopard.

Are any of your macs stil under warranty? Apple sent me Panther, Tiger, and Leopard for free with 15.00 shipping...

iBook G4

I am looking for the OS x 10.5.6 retail leopard disk -- desperately!! If anyone has it, can I borrow it or buy it... it blows not being able to use my computer, even if it is 8 years old, BUT STILL, for the amount of money that i spent on it, I would have liked to have used it longer than 2.5 years. Ive had it sitting in a safe place for several years and have done alot of research as to what the problem with it may be. Talked to a guy from Mac Canada... I cant afford to pay $60 to have him tell me what i can or can not do to fix it. I live 3 hours away from the nearest Mac store... uuuggghhh.

S.O.S!!!
